Tom Barnard founded Floor Restorer in 2003 from his professional experience in the stone flooring industry.
Originally a qualified project manager, he sourced, imported and sold a variety of stone for flooring from overseas. He became involved with stone floor installation and ran teams of installers, undertaking a variety of specialist flooring projects for domestic and commercial customers.
While doing this Tom noticed that many floors being replaced could well have been restored and he has become passionate about saving these lovely floors with all their history and beautiful patinas, not to mention the savings in cost and upheaval.
Now, with over 10 years’ experience in sympathetic stone care, Floor Restorer has grown into a highly respected floor restoration and maintenance company for the home and business.
Tom leads a team of specialist floor restorers and technicians to provide a wide range of services, from cleaning and sealing, grinding, regular ongoing maintenance, right up to full floor restorations.
Floor Restorer also offers its own range of professional quality products to help with the aftercare of your floor.
