Ancient Delabole slate floor rescued

This original Delabole slate floor in a Padstow fisherman’s cottage had been divided by a partition wall and one side painted red. Once the wall was taken down, we stripped back the paint, repaired the damage and resurfaced, blending the two areas so the colours matched. We finished with sealant and a thin layer of stone wax.
